Delivery

We usually process and dispatch your order within 5 business days once we have all items in stock at our Fulfilment Centre. 

We deliver Australia wide from our Fulfilment Centre which is located in North West Sydney NSW Australia to the delivery address you provide. We cannot deliver to PO Boxes. Delivery times and rates vary depending on the number of items, their size, their weight and the distance from our Fulfilment Centre.

We utilise various delivery methods depending on the size of your order. Smaller items are posted via Australia Post and bulky goods are sent via selected freight and courier service providers.

Once your order has been dispatched, delivery usually occurs within 5 business days, however it can take up to 14 business days in more remote areas. Please contact us if you experience a delay and we will help track the status of your order.

If you are ordering an item that’s on Backorder, Pre-Order or Made to Order, please refer to the quoted approximate lead time for that product as a guide for when we will have the item(s) in stock to dispatch. Unfortunately, circumstances may change beyond our control which may lead to a delay in your order being delivered on time. Don’t worry, we will keep you updated if this does occur.

At this time we don’t accept international orders through our website.

Yes, we are happy to send your gift straight to the intended recipient. The invoice and receipt will be sent to your registered email address with the billing address you provide and the items will be sent to the delivery contact and address you specify.

Some couriers and parcel services allow you to track the status of your delivery. You will receive email alerts and instructions on how to use this service if it is available.

Returns, Repairs & Refunds

If you would like to cancel your order, please contact us straight away by phoning our Customer Care team on 1300 721 942 or if after hours please email customercare@ozdesignfurniture.com.au from your registered email address.

We can only accept cancellations if our Customer Care team is able to stop the order before our Fulfilment Centre begins processing and if the product is not custom made, bespoke or made to order.

We take special care in packaging your orders to protect them during transit. In the unfortunate circumstance where an item has arrived damaged, faulty or broken please contact us and once verified we will help arrange a replacement or repair for you.

While we take care to ensure you get the items you ordered, sometimes we get it wrong. If you have found that an item delivered doesn’t match what you have ordered, please contact us and once confirmed we will arrange it to be returned and then deliver you the correct item.

Please choose carefully. We don’t normally give refunds for change of mind or wrong decisions. We will authorise a refund or online store credit if we are unable to replace goods that are faulty, have been wrongly described, are different to the product purchased on the website or don’t perform as advertised.

Pricing & Promotions

All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD$) and include GST.

Prices exclude postage and handling. A delivery estimate can be calculated on the product page.

While every effort has been made to ensure that the information shown is accurate we reserve the right to correct any errors and as such pricing is subject to change without notice if required.

In certain circumstances, we may need to reject your order. This may happen where the requested Product is not available or if there is an error in the price or the product description posted on the Site.

Most of our promotional offers and deals are shown on individual product listings and will automatically carry through to checkout. If you have a discount code, you will need to enter it during check out in order for the discount to apply.

If you have a valid discount code, simply enter it in the section provided during check out to apply it to your order. If you have any issues, please contact our Customer Care team on 1300 721 942. Some discount codes cannot be combined with other promotions so please check the conditions of the discount for any restrictions.

All promotions and discounts refer to savings against the Regular Retail Price (RRP).

Offers are limited to stock on hand. OZ Design Furniture Online reserves the right to change or cancel offers at any time.

Managing Your Account

If you’ve forgotten your password and need to reset it to access your account, click on the Forgot Your Password? link and a link will be sent to your registered email address to reset your password.

Within Your Account you will be able to update your profile and track all orders.

To View an Order Go to ‘Your Account’ and sign in using your registered email address and password, from the menu on the left hand side click ‘View Order History’ in the 'Order Information' section.

You will be taken to a list of all your orders and you should then click on the 'View Order' button under the order you wish to track.

Your order is assigned a status designed to indicate the progress of an order/item. The different order statuses are:

In Progress: your order is with our warehouse and is being processed.

Ready for Delivery: the goods in your order that show this status have entered the despatch process. Items that show this status cannot be cancelled or amended.

Dispatched: this status indicates that the goods have been despatched. You can view more information about how and when the goods were despatched by clicking on the 'Track an order' link in Your Account.

Backordered: this status will appear if the item is a pre-order and is not yet available to despatch or if the item is temporarily out of stock.

Cancelled: items that show this status have been cancelled. You will not be charged for items that display this status.

Returned: this indicates that the item has been returned to our warehouse and you will receive a refund for the cost of this item subject to the terms of our Returns Policy.

From Your Account, click on the link to "Account Profile". From here you can update your personal details, email address and password.

Every time you purchase an item the billing and Delivery address for that order will be stored in your Address Book, located within Your Account

All registered users can store multiple unique addresses and if you would like to edit, add or delete one of those addresses, simply go to Your Account, click on the link to your Address Book and use the links to edit or delete.

Product Availability, Warranty & Protection

Due to the uniqueness of our product range, there may be slight colour and size variations to images shown. Natural timber is beautiful, unique and varied, and so each timber piece will have its own variation of colour, knots and gum veins.

Each of our stores have variations to the product range it carries to suit the area it’s located. Some items may not be available at all stores however we usually can arrange to have it ordered-in for you if stock is available, otherwise it may be available for you to purchase online from us while stock lasts.

In Stock
We carry a selected range of our products in stock at our Fulfilment Centre. If all your items are in stock at time of purchase, we usually dispatch within 2-3 business days from when we receive your order.

Back Order
Sometimes it takes a few days for us to re-stock and we like to offer you the chance to get first allocation of the next stock delivery to our Fulfilment Centre. Products on back order are usually restocked within 5-10 business days.

Pre-Order
Love that new season look? We do too and thought it would be exciting to let you purchase some of our favourite, select new ranges to secure your allocation and be among the first to own it in your home from OZ Design Furniture Online.

The expected release date is displayed on the product detail page, please take careful note of it as we will not be able to dispatch your order for delivery beforehand. Keep in mind delivery time frames are in addition.

In-store only
Some of our product requires special service that only our experienced professionals in store can provide you. We want to give you the opportunity to look, touch and feel the quality in the materials, fabrics and leathers that they come in.

We also want to keep our online prices the best value as we can for you and keeping to a selective range is one of many methods we use to achieve that for you.

Made to Order
Customised, bespoke and some of our Australian made products are made especially for you after you’ve placed the order with us at OZ Design Furniture Online, either in-store or online. It usually takes 4-8 weeks to have your beautiful new Sofa, Chair, Ottoman or piece of furniture to be ready. We will then arrange delivery with you on a day that suits you best. However, over our Christmas period these lead times can be extended up to 12 weeks.

We hold high standards for our product and if your new piece of furniture doesn’t pass our quality check, we send it straight back to be made again. We know these delays can be annoying, but we believe it’s worth the wait to get quality finish for our customers.

Email me when online stock is available
You can contact your local store to see if they currently carry stock, otherwise we can notify you once we have more at our Fulfilment Centre. Simply leave your email address and we will message once we have more stock available.

Although generally not subject to Australian GST, goods ordered for delivery outside Australia may be subject to import duties and other taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.

We offer a manufacturer's warranty on all our fabric and leather sofas and our case good ranges.

All fabric sofas carry a 12 months to 10 year warranty on workmanship and structure. All fabric sofa cushioning has a warranty of 5 to 15 years.

Our leather sofas carry a 12 month to 5 year warranty on workmanship and structure.

All of our casegood products are covered with a manufacturer's warranty on workmanship and structure that varies from 12 months to 5 years depending on the manufacturer.

To protect your fabric sofa and to ensure that it looks good for many years to come it is advisable to have fabric protection applied (unless the fabric has a specific note not to apply it). The other exceptions are fabrics that have an inherent stain resistance, where the fabric protection has been applied to the yarns of the fabric before it was woven.

Only fabric protection endorsed by OZ Design may be used on our fabrics. Talk to your OZ Design sales consultant who will advise of the fabric protection options available for your chosen fabric.

Leather should be cleaned and conditioned frequently (every 3-6 months) and protected with a leather care product endorsed by OZ Design Furniture Online. These are industry recommended leather care products suitable for all types of leather and must be used as recommended. For furniture placed in high use areas like the TV room, clean and protect every four months.

You can also purchase recommended leather wipes that should be used weekly to wipe dust.

We offer a 3 (three) year, manufacturers warranty on the majority of our leather coverings. This covers cracking and peeling of the leather, provided the leather has been correctly maintained including regular cleaning and conditioning. This warranty does not cover misuse or neglect.

Product Care & Maintenance

We recommend a simple vacuum of your fabric sofa every week and loose seat and back cushions should be rotated and plumped regularly to extend the life for the fabric and the foam. Always lift your sofas, never drag them as you may break or scratch the legs. You may choose to remove the plastic corner protectors with extreme care, using pliers to remove staples. Do not sit on the arms or back of your sofa. We recommend that your sofa/chair is cleaned by a qualified upholstery cleaning company once a year. It is common for seat foams to soften over time.

Avoid direct heat such as sunlight, fires or air-conditioners to prevent fading, moisture build up and/or scorching. Sharp objects can cause snagging, tearing or pulling of the fabric. Cut any loose threads off the sofa, do not pull them. Minor spills should be quickly blotted with an absorbent paper towel or clean cloth to avoid staining. Avoid using aggressive household cleaners. For tough stains use the services of a professional cleaning company as recommended by our fabric protection specialists. Dye transfer between product/material can occur and should be cleaned immediately with the recommended cleaning product.

Care instructions for sofabeds
Before attempting to open your sofa bed for the first time, ensure the straps holding the mechanisms in place are undone and removed. Do not move the sofa with the bed open as this will cause damage to the sofas legs and can pull the mechanism out of alignment. Do not close the bed with any sheets, blankets, pillow or other bed linen inside. When the bed is open the mechanism is not designed for the sofa to be a seat. Excessive weight forward of the front bar may result in damage to the mechanism. Always follow the instructions carefully when opening and closing the bed.

Leather is a natural material which will last a long time, but only if maintained correctly. Leather should be cleaned and conditioned regularly to avoid drying out and cracking of the leather. To minimise fading, avoid exposing your furniture to direct sunlight or heat. Dusting and vacuum your furniture weekly. Wipe off any spills immediately with a soft damp cloth. Dye transfer between product/material can occur and should be cleaned immediately with the recommended cleaning product. Ink and pen marks must be cleaned immediately with an ink removing cleaner specifically made for leather. It is common for leather to stretch with use and for seat foams to soften over time.

Clean and protect the leather with manufacturer approved care products following the instructions carefully. Different types of leather and finishes require different treatments. Ensure you purchase care products to suit the leather type you have chosen.

Use of general household cleaning products, chemicals and abrasives are not recommended as they can break down the protective surface and cause damage to the leather. Leather is a natural material which will last a long time but only if maintained correctly. Leather should be cleaned and conditioned regularly to avoid drying out and cracking of the leather.

Due to the nature of the timber, you will find each piece of furniture has its own natural characteristics and patterns. No two pieces are ever the same making a solid timber purchase a unique addition to your home.

Glass and timber general care
Dust with a soft damp cloth. If polishing timber, use a Non Silicone based polish. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight to prevent bleaching, discolouration or dying of the coated surface. Use heat resistant place mats under hot/cold food or beverages to avoid damage. Spillages should be cleaned with a soft damp cloth as soon as possible to avoid moisture damaging the coating.

High gloss general care
Ensure you use coasters on the surfaces to protect against scratches, heat or water marks. Water spills should be wiped up with a clean dust free cloth immediately. Loose dust can be easily removed with a soft clean cloth by gently wiping the surface of the furniture. Dust can scratch the surface so work carefully. Do not use a feather duster, as it may scratch the surface and do not use polish that contains silicon or alcohol.

Chrome general care
Clean frequently with a soft cloth, paying particular attention to joins and angles where dust and moisture can accumulate. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

Ensure that you have read the assembly instructions. When assembling your furniture, ensure that you lay the pieces on a soft surface such as carpet or a blanket. Avoid chipping or scratching of panels and furniture pieces by always lifting the pieces, not dragging them as you assemble.

OZ Design Furniture Online accepts Visa, MasterCard and *American Express credit and debit cards as well as PayPal payment methods in Australian Dollars (AUD$). *There is a 2% surcharge for American Express payments. Our website uses advanced internet security systems to safeguard your data. Your personal information (such as name, address information, contact details and so on) is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology. When purchasing from OZ Design Furniture Online, card details are securely transmitted through an accredited payment gateway service provider, Braintree. We do not collect or store any of your card details. Please take care to enter in your card information carefully to ensure the payment is able to process correctly.

The site uses an advanced internet security system to safeguard your data. Therefore the card details and type must be entered exactly as they are on your card in order to be accepted.

Card Security Number
The card security code is a unique three or four-digit number printed on your debit/credit card. This number is not embossed on the card and hence not printed on receipts - making it difficult for anyone other than the genuine cardholder, to know it. You will be required to enter the security code of your card during ‘Checkout’.

If there is a problem with the way you have entered your payment details, or the billing address you entered does not match the billing address associated with the credit/debit card you will be shown an error message when you click on the ‘Place your order’ button. Please re-enter your details correctly and you will be able to proceed with payment and completion of your order.
